Internship - AI for Medical Image Processing(m/w/x)
Developing ML algorithms for surgical imaging devices, integrating multiple optical modalities from concept to production. Advanced Python, C/C++/CUDA, and deep learning frameworks experience required. Direct contribution to production-ready medical imaging solutions.
Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree and enrollment in a master’s program in mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline, computer science, physics, mathematics with a focus on machine learning
- Advanced programming experience in Python, prior experience in C/C++ or CUDA
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Domain knowledge in medical imaging, preferably OCT and video-based imaging
- Experience in software engineering and development with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and COSMOS for deployment of AI-models in simulation
- Excellent organization, problem-solving and communication skills
- Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies, motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
