- Agency or client-side experience
- Travel, marketplace, or consumer tech experience (plus, not must)
- Hands-on with survey platforms and trackers
- Comfortable with BI tools, spreadsheets, and light stats

- Experience designing and running segmentations
- Experience designing and running brand/creative testing

- Voice customer insights for the organization
- Define and own the learning agenda for Brand Marketing
- Identify priority questions and map knowledge gaps
- Align stakeholders on the learning roadmap
- Elevate brand health measurement
- Evolve the tracking framework (awareness, consideration, preference, associations, mental availability)
- Set targets with Brand leadership
- Report brand health progress clearly
- Conduct end-to-end customer research
- Analyze drivers and barriers
- Test category entry points
- Evaluate message and concept testing
- Perform segmentation and ad/campaign measurement
- Choose appropriate research methods
- Balance research rigor and speed
- Support Creative, Supply Marketing, and PR
- Design pre/post studies
- Select and partner with agencies
- Conduct campaign readouts
- Make insights accessible and actionable
- Create crisp pagers and executive summaries
- Run insights roadshows
- Maintain a searchable insights library
- Modernize the research toolkit
- Pilot AI-assisted analysis and synthesis
- Evaluate and recommend vendors/partners
- Optimize the research stack for speed, quality, and value
- Facilitate alignment across teams
- Manage and mentor a research freelancer
- Brief and manage agencies
- Prepare RFPs, SOWs, and budgets
- Champion research ethics and quality
- Uphold best practices in research
- Ensure privacy and unbiased language in surveys and stimuli
