Aufgaben
- Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy
- Optimize total cost of ownership through cost modeling and sourcing innovation
- Lead costed BOM development aligned with product lifecycle
- Drive dual sourcing and supplier qualification for supply continuity
- Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and negotiate agreements
- Report vendor performance metrics to leadership
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Establish a cross-functional network with engineering and operations
- Partner with NPI and engineering for early supplier involvement
- Collaborate with sustainability teams for responsible sourcing
- Maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets and cost drivers
- Monitor market trends and competitive benchmarks for sourcing decisions
- Identify and implement VA/VE opportunities with suppliers
- Lead the category team to foster collaboration and improvement
- Build organizational capability in strategic sourcing and negotiation
- Champion digital procurement tools for data-driven decisions
