Requirements

  • Enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and security fundamentals
  • Interest in penetration testing and vulnerability scanning tools
  • Curiosity in OT/industrial security and IT/operational systems connection
  • Familiarity with common security concepts
  • Basic understanding of ISO 27001 or security frameworks (nice to have)
  • Good English communication skills
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn

Tasks

  • Support security operations
  • Conduct technical security assessments
  • Perform vulnerability assessments
  • Execute basic penetration testing
  • Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities
  • Understand industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA)
  • Improve security controls
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams
  • Support technical risk analysis
  • Track remediation of identified issues
  • Maintain lightweight security documentation
  • Align technical findings with security requirements
  • Prepare basic security reports
  • Create security dashboards for internal tracking

  • Currently in higher education
