Tasks
- Lead onshore wind project development in Germany
- Ensure alignment with company strategy
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Deliver projects within budget and timeline
- Manage project lifecycle to Ready to Build status
- Support construction activities
- Identify and assess suitable wind farm locations
- Originate new business and partnership opportunities
- Negotiate land lease agreements
- Secure grid access with TSOs and DSOs
- Oversee technical and environmental studies
- Manage permitting processes
- Manage stakeholder engagement
- Identify and mitigate technical, regulatory, and financial project risks
- Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, timelines, and budgets
- Manage co-development agreements with partners
- Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national authorities
- Represent the company in permitting discussions and public consultations
- Ensure transparent communication and alignment with regulatory bodies
- Supervise and coordinate internal teams and external consultants
- Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration
- Monitor the German wind energy market
- Monitor competitors and regulatory changes
- Identify potential partnerships and acquisition targets
- Contribute to project budgets and business cases
- Monitor financial performance
- Support investment decisions
