Wind Project Developer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• University Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or related technical field, or comparable qualification with relevant development experience
• 3-5 years experience in onshore wind development in Germany
• Deep understanding of German wind energy market and permitting landscape
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proactiveness, autonomy, and adaptability in fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with GIS
• Ability to navigate German EEG auction system (Bundesnetzagentur tenders)
• Ability to work in multicultural, international, cross-functional team
• Native German language skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Autonomous, adaptable, and multi-skilled nature
• Proactiveness and ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to work in collaborative, multi-national environment
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

Tasks

• Lead onshore wind project development in Germany.
• Oversee projects from prospecting to construction handover.
• Ensure project alignment with company strategy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for projects.
• Deliver projects within budget and timeline.
• Contribute to business plan execution.
• Manage the full project lifecycle.
• Support project construction activities.
• Facilitate project transfer to Asset Operations.
• Identify and assess suitable wind farm locations.
• Negotiate land lease agreements.
• Coordinate with TSOs and DSOs.
• Secure project grid access.
• Oversee technical and environmental studies.
• Manage permitting processes.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Lead community outreach efforts.
• Build local support and mitigate opposition.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes.
• Ensure project adherence to timelines.
• Ensure project adherence to budget targets.
• Manage co-development agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with authorities.
• Represent the company in permitting discussions.
• Represent the company in public consultations.
• Ensure transparent communication with regulators.
