As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient warehouse operations while focusing on health, safety, and quality control. Your role involves coaching staff, optimizing processes, and delivering reliable service tailored to customer needs.

Requirements

• •Experience in a functional area applying knowledge of theories, methods, techniques, and processes
• •Understanding of business nature and interdependencies between functions
• •Several years’ experience in contract logistics in a customer-facing role
• •Experience in managing and leading warehouse operations team
• •Experience in international matrix organization with stakeholder management capabilities
• •Lean thinking and continuous improvement mindset
• •Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills
• •Strong personality; passionate, holistic view, courageous, effective in diverse cultural settings, impact-driven, optimistic, and stress-resistant
• •Process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail
• •Resilient team player, goal-oriented, high commitment, ability to work under minimal supervision
• •Passion for operational excellence, driven by data and process standardization
• •German native level
• •Excellent written and verbal English

Tasks

• •Lead the operational team in the warehouse
• •Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• •Oversee quality control processes
• •Coach and mentor team members to achieve daily objectives
• •Monitor customer KPIs and team performance
• •Continuously seek improvements in operational processes and systems
• •Develop and implement strategies for customizable solutions
• •Maintain standard product offerings
• •Facilitate smooth task handovers and optimize team communication during shift changes
• •Update the Warehouse Management system with production results, system faults, and stock deviations
• •Provide necessary reports to the Site Manager
