Requirements
- •Leadership experience in Group Accounting
- •Successful university degree in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditing
- •Experience in an Audit firm
- •Broad understanding of consolidation and financial statement closing processes
- •Excellent knowledge of consolidation systems, preferably OneStream
- •In-depth knowledge of IFRS
- •Ability to interact with various stakeholders and explain complex accounting issues
- •International, intercultural open mindset
- •Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop the team
- •Strong communication skills
- •Fluency in written and spoken German and English
Education
Bachelor's degree

Tasks
- •Manage and lead the Group Consolidation and Reporting team
- •Prepare consolidated financial statements for Evotec Group
- •Prepare quarterly and yearly external reports in accordance with IFRS
- •Coordinate the process for IFRS Notes disclosures and Management Discussion & Analysis
- •Ensure compliance with capital market regulations in Germany and the US
- •Support subsidiaries with matters related to consolidated financial statements
- •Oversee specific projects, such as implementing new IFRS standards
- •Develop the consolidation tool further
- •Assist in M&A transactions and post-merger integration
- •Act as the main contact for auditors
