- Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Experience or understanding of system engineering principles

- DOORS or similar system engineering tool certification
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Tasks
- Design locomotive systems
- Analyze and define requirements at vehicle and subsystem levels
- Develop concepts and designs in collaboration with the team
- Create functional specifications for electrical architecture and subsystems
- Document technical requirements for subsystem integration
- Manage hardware and software interface requirements
- Conduct type testing for subsystems
- Support validation of functional designs and create test specifications
- Assist with testing in laboratories and on vehicles
- Manage configurations and changes to maintain baseline integrity
