RMTS System-Engineer(m/w/x)
System engineering for emergency oxygen supply components at aerospace supplier, ensuring airworthiness and safety program compliance. Enhanced knowledge of aerospace equipment and NATO-citizenship with existing security clearance advantageous. 30 days vacation, flexible working times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Eng., Computer Eng., Systems Engineering, Communications Eng., Aerospace Eng. or equivalent
- NATO-citizenship and existing security clearance advantageous
- Enhanced knowledge about aerospace equipment
- Collaboration with multiple engineering domains
- Basic understanding of circuit diagram analysis
- Experience in schematics design
- Experience in Safety Analysis on LRU and/or platform systems level
- Experience in problem solving within given boundary conditions
- Experience in requirement capturing
- Application of DO254 / DO178B/C / ARP4754 standards
- Interpersonal quality (teamplayer)
- English B2+/C minimum; German B2 or better optional
- Experience with specific tools
- DOORS and/or JAMA

- Supporting knowledge/experience
- Familiar with typical avionic signal standards
- MIL-Bus 1553, ARINC 429, RS232, Ethernet

Tasks
- Collaborate with international engineering teams
- Provide evidence for airworthiness design standards
- Review and approve subsystem development planning
- Ensure completeness of the Safety Program Plan
- Align development methods with safety assessment objectives
- Perform Safety Analyses (SFHA, PSSA, SSA)
- Conduct reliability predictions and analysis
- Prepare failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA)
- Develop Failure Catalogue for Line Replaceable Units (LRU)
- Work with design engineers to integrate reliability requirements
- Present reliability findings to management and customers
