In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality of interior components by defining surface requirements, conducting evaluations, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading assessments and maintaining clear project documentation.

Requirements

• •Technical degree or vocational training (e.g. Automotive, Plastics, Mechanical Engineering)
• •Experience in automotive interior components, surface quality, or supplier quality
• •Strong expertise in Grain & Colour definition and automotive surface evaluation standards
• •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and surface specifications
• •Experience working with OEM processes
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Excellent attention to detail, assertive communication style, and high self-organization
• •Willingness to travel and work on-site in plants and at supplier locations

Tasks

• •Define and approve grain areas and surface requirements for interior components
• •Perform surface analyses and visual evaluations on parts and vehicles
• •Organize and lead Grain & Colour Days and pre-evaluations
• •Conduct on-site assessments at plants
• •Coordinate with OEM departments, suppliers, and process partners
• •Approve or reject components and manage rework processes
• •Create and maintain photo documentation and acceptance checklists
• •Ensure transparent and up-to-date status reporting throughout the project
