- Define function’s mandate, governance, and interfaces
- Position BI as strategic thought partner to divisions
- Interface between BI’s VC ecosystem and operating businesses
- Create structured transparency on deal flow, technologies, and market shifts
- Enable pilots, partnerships, and new business opportunities
- Translate technological disruption into strategic action
- Derive clear implications and pathways for Bertelsmann businesses
- Establish strong cross-Group and external innovation network
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Understand core business value drivers
- Connect Bertelsmann to global innovation ecosystems
- Work closely with Tech & Data and Partnerships teams
- Foster culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
