Tasks

  • Represent experimental particle physics in research and teaching
  • Strengthen detector development for high-energy physics experiments
  • Lead the conception and operation of particle detector systems
  • Optimize performance of modern detector systems
  • Apply expertise in innovative detector technologies
  • Provide scientific leadership in international detector collaborations
  • Design and prepare next-generation detector systems
  • Collaborate across disciplines within KCETA and KSETA
  • Transfer technologies to the Center for Health Technologies
  • Perform university teaching duties for nine hours weekly
