Turbine Test and Integration Engineer(m/w/x)
Designing and executing test procedures for propulsion systems on reusable space launch and hypersonic transport systems at an aerospace startup. 2-3 years in high-performance engine testing, with test-rig design experience, required. Hands-on work with advanced propulsion test stands.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in turbine or high-performance engine testing
- Strong understanding of gas-turbine thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and material science
- Experience with test-rig design, instrumentation and data-acquisition systems
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, acoustic diagnostics, and fatigue testing
- Proficiency in data-analysis software (Python, MATLAB)
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO55001, ICE61508 and turbine-specific safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with turbine manufacturers and ability to use CFD or FEM analysis
- Scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross functional, global teams

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety policies
- Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments
- Develop mitigation plans for high-pressure and high-temperature requirements
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
- Implement best practices in test methodology
