Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc./M.Eng.) or similar
  • •Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
  • •Experience with NI Hardware
  • •Hands-on knowledge of LabVIEW, Python, or embedded control systems
  • •Familiarity with rocket engines, test stands, or cryogenic fluid systems
  • •Background in test automation or real-time systems
  • •Work experience in a start-up environment
  • •Safety-conscious mindset and ability to work under pressure during live tests
  • •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • •Proficiency in both German and English

Tasks

  • •Design and maintain the Data Acquisition System (DAQS) for rocket engine test stands
  • •Select and integrate sensors for pressure, temperature, and flow
  • •Program control and data logging software using LabVIEW, Python, and PLCs
  • •Develop test procedures, checklists, and safety interlocks
  • •Support test operations including system arming, countdown, engine ignition, and shutdown
  • •Ensure safe operations and telemetry reliability with real-time visualization
  • •Analyze test data and prepare reports on engine performance and health
