TRAP Manager(m/w/x)
Managing inspection, maintenance, and transport of WRM Prepositioning Program assets, supervising a diverse international workforce. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience with equipment methods, 10 years armament systems operations preferred. Operations in a host country, ensuring PWS compliance for a critical defense program.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor or Associate's degree in respective area or general management
- Preferred 10 years' experience with armament systems and explosives operations
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience with TRAP equipment methods
- Authorization to work in host country
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years, OR Associate's degree plus 7 years, OR major certification plus 7 years, OR 11 years recent specialized experience
- Physical capability to perform duties, lift/push/pull 50 lbs
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Normal color perception
- No record of emotional instability
Tasks
- Oversee inspection, maintenance, and storage of TRAP assets for the WRM Prepositioning Program
- Oversee control, security, and transport of TRAP assets for the WRM Prepositioning Program
- Manage and supervise assigned Western and Asian/Local National workforce
- Serve as the contract technical expert for TRAP
- Ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Ensure compliance with DynCorp ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage and oversee all assigned TRAP Department personnel and equipment
- Ensure maximum resource utilization and conservation
- Strictly enforce all technical, safety, security, and quality directives
- Advise the Operations Manager on TRAP issues, performance trends, and personnel matters
- Develop and manage production goals and levels per PWS
- Manage and direct assigned personnel workload per technical and quality directives
- Establish, manage, and implement master schedules for TRAP inspections and TCTOs
- Manage TRAP equipment maintenance to USAF standards, including corrosion control
- Coordinate with Supply for TRAP inventory accountability, storage, and availability for maintenance
- Ensure TRAP storage facilities provide maximum environmental protection
- Manage technical order and publications library per T.O.00-5-2 and 00-20 Series
- Manage mandatory AFTO Forms files per T.O.00-5-2 and 00-20 Series
- Enforce consistent use of technical orders and forms by all personnel
- Manage timely and accurate completion of serviceability records
- Ensure critical levels of tanks and RAP through recurring inspections per technical standards
- Manage tool storage, replacement bench, and operational stocks
- Manage inspections and maintenance of facilities and installed equipment
- Ensure maintenance of assigned vehicles, equipment, and facilities
- Prepare and submit reports and deliverables to PMO per PWS
- Participate in maintenance and inspection activities as needed
- Interface and coordinate with other functional managers
- Continuously review safety plans, policies, and programs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure employee safety training and education
- Provide leadership, vision, and resources for safety programs
- Perform other assigned duties
