Therapeutic Area Specialist, Hematology & Oncology(m/w/x)
Providing scientific expert advice to opinion leaders and medical oncologists in oncology. Life science degree or equivalent experience required. 4-day work week, company car for private use.
Requirements
- Strong identification with company values
- Life science degree or equivalent professional experience, Pharmaberater or geprüfter Pharmareferent status
- Sales-oriented training with competitive market experience and proven field service success desirable
- Willingness for continuous sales and communication trainings and application of sales techniques
- Marketing and sales-oriented thinking and working
- Excellent knowledge in Oncology, special knowledge in Lung, Bladder and Gastro- Cancer desirable
- Excellent and reliable contacts to opinion leaders in relevant indications and region desirable
- Knowledge of German drug distribution structures and channels desirable
- Enjoyment of sales, team and project work within error and feedback culture
- Target oriented approach with useful action planning
- Exceptional communication and strong leadership/willpower
- Confident manner, good customer acceptance due to scientific advisory expertise
- Good command in English (written and verbal)
- Relevant computer skills (MS Office, CRM-Systems, analytical tools, AI)
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and attend meetings
Tasks
- Drive impactful oncology outcomes
- Shape customer partnerships
- Deliver innovative therapies to patients
- Provide scientific expert advice to opinion leaders and medical oncologists
- Achieve regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters
- Develop key account customers and accounts according to product strategy
- Collaborate and share feedback with cross-functional teams
- Work closely with Sales and Field Coach, Regional Medical Science Liaison, Regional Medical Portfolio Managers, Health Economics Experts, and Key Account Managers
- Conduct customer, market, and competitive analysis for efficient territory management
- Inform line manager and headquarters of relevant market changes and competitor activity
- Continuously learn and apply knowledge from sales trainings and field coaching
- Organize and participate in local symposia, workshops, and peer-to-peer meetings
- Utilize all relevant channels (F2F, remote, digital)
- Qualify in customer individual customer journeys
- Work in matrix, cross-functional, and agile team settings
- Demonstrate empathic and active listening
- Maintain a proactive, can-do, and win-oriented attitude
- Think and act customer-centrically
- Maintain a positive, highly motivated, and solution-oriented mindset
