Tasks
- Lead and inspire a team of data engineers
- Mentor data engineers to foster growth and development
- Own data platform architecture, development, and operations
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability
- Automate platform operations and data workflows
- Minimize manual intervention in data processes
- Serve as primary contact for data engineering teams
- Advise on platform usage, data modeling, and pipeline design
- Collaborate cross-functionally to set data engineering standards
- Champion data engineering excellence and security practices
- Architect and code critical data infrastructure solutions
- Review and deploy data platform enhancements
- Drive adoption of modern data tools and technologies
- Apply critical thinking to tool recommendations and outputs
