Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Experience in PV system project development or management
  • Understanding of PV system design, grid connection, and technical standards
  • Experience defining project requirements, evaluating EPC offers, and negotiating terms
  • Structured, proactive, hands-on mindset with high ownership
  • Fluent German and English
  • Willingness to travel as required

Tasks

  • Support developing technically feasible projects
  • Bridge Technical Experts and Project Development
  • Ensure Sunrock projects meet high technical standards
  • Develop solar and smart energy projects from proposal to financial close
  • Ensure smooth handover to construction and commissioning
  • Collaborate with Technical Project Managers for feasibility and design
  • Comply with internal standards and regulations
  • Collect information for Request for Quotations (RfQ)
  • Create RfQs in alignment with Technical Team and Project Developers
  • Detect and mitigate errors in RfQs
  • Review planning and structural constraints
  • Collaborate with external structural engineers
  • Review site visit documentation
  • Organize EPC Tenders with Technical Lead
  • Support concluding EPC contracts
  • Ensure alignment on technical scope, risk allocation, commercial terms, and timelines
  • Collect relevant documents for transfer to Implementation Team
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for smooth transfer
  • Provide technical guidance to Project Developers
  • Act as technical expert during site visits and information gathering
  • Support Business Development with technical assessments
  • Ensure high-quality project origination

  • Bachelor's degree
