Technical Project Manager Aerospace Composites(m/w/x)

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or similar technical field
- Quick understanding of difficult technical problems

- Comfort in making technical decisions
- Several years of experience in product development
- Several years of experience in technical project management
- Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing sectors (ideal)
- Proficiency in English
- German language skills (nice to have)
- Quick uptake
- Strong analytical skills
- Practical, solution-oriented approach
- High level of ownership
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving
- In-depth knowledge of fiber composite materials (nice to have)
- Knowledge of associated manufacturing processes (winding, RTM, pressing, laminating) (nice to have)
Tasks
- Lead full life-cycle of COPV product development projects
- Manage new COPV projects from design to serial production
- Evaluate new product ideas technically
- Assist in developing robust production concepts
- Calculate internal manufacturing costs
- Manage project activities, resources, and timelines
- Ensure technical and operational project goals are met
- Collaborate with Part Design & FEM, Toolmaking, Materials & Processes, Production, and Quality Management
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation
- Adhere to internal standards and quality requirements
- Act as central point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Align expectations across all departments involved
Work Experience

Education
- Bachelor's degree

- English – Business Fluent
- German – Basic
