Technical Program Manager - Vehicle OS(m/w/x)
Managing vehicle OS development for automotive OEMs, including supplier relations and EMEA customer engagement. 5+ years automotive TPM or engineering experience required. Equity options and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years technical program management or engineering in automotive
- Hands-on experience at OEM or Tier-1 supplier
- Proven supplier management experience
- Strong customer-facing presence
- Comfortable representing independently with OEMs and executives
- Technical depth in embedded systems, middleware, or ADAS
- Builder mindset, set up program structure from scratch
- Ability to operate independently across sites and time zones
- Stuttgart-based or open to relocation
- Fluent in German
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth environment
- Familiarity with automotive development standards
- Background in series production programs or SDS/ADAS platform delivery
Tasks
- Define and manage program milestones and timelines
- Own deliverables and sprint execution for software teams
- Manage supplier relationships at Tier-1 and Tier-2 levels
- Hold partners accountable to schedule and quality commitments
- Serve as primary contact for EMEA OEMs
- Translate customer requirements into engineering tasks
- Provide structured and regular updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate across internal and external teams
- Align technical roadmaps and unblock dependencies
- Support international roll-outs
- Drive issues to closure
- Own problem-solving and decision-making processes
