Technical Development Lead(m/w/x)
Developing scalable D&A solutions using Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Fabric, Snowflake, Matillion, and Databricks. 5+ years hands-on enterprise analytics development experience required. Hybrid work, flexible schedule, global friendly atmosphere.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years overall experience in BI, analytics, or data engineering
- 5+ years hands-on experience developing enterprise analytics solutions and data models in Qlik Sense or other platforms
- 2+ years SQL and Python experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale analytic applications in production
- Prior experience mentoring junior developers and acting as technical lead
- Experience with sales, commercial operations, or related data
- Proficiency with core productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
- Professional, proactive, structured working style with ownership and accountability
- Understanding of or interest in automotive industry
- Multilingual (German, Japanese, or Chinese)
- Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI experience
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
- Knowledge of automotive industry, OEM interactions, or sales planning
- Legally eligible to work in Germany
- Willing to work in a hybrid environment and commute to office
- Comfortable collaborating with global teams, with flexible working hours
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Occasional travel for meetings, workshops, or engagements
Tasks
- Design and develop scalable D&A solutions
- Operationalize D&A solutions using Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Fabric, Snowflake, Matillion, Databricks
- Oversee D&A development activities in Customer Excellence
- Develop critical complex D&A deliverables
- Mentor and upskill D&A resources in Customer Excellence
- Ensure timely and scoped delivery of D&A projects
- Maintain technical expertise in D&A platforms
- Define and execute Data/Analytic architectures
- Lead technical development activities for CEBI
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
- Build and optimize data models for performance, reusability, and accuracy
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using enterprise data platforms
- Identify AI-enabled methods to optimize deliverables and developer performance
- Serve as central point of contact for technical developments
- Ensure project activities remain on track with clear agendas and deadlines
- Adhere to analytics governance, security, and development standards
- Create scalable development standards and frameworks
- Maintain and document technical specifications, data flows, and solution architectures
- Measure and report on platform adoption and identify improvement areas
- Facilitate technical trainings for GCG organization
- Support continuous improvement of digital tools and processes
- Coordinate with other Excellence organizations to share best practices
- Contribute to department’s monthly newsletter and internal communications
- Partner with Sales Excellence, Sales, Customer Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
