As a bridge between investment and technology teams, you will drive operational excellence by sourcing critical data and translating complex research needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Requirements

• •3–6 years of experience in investment research, data, or analytics
• •Exposure to investing, financial markets, or investment research
• •Experience with external data vendors or data-heavy products
• •Comfort with SQL or Python for data exploration
• •Strong curiosity about data and data value chains
• •Ability to write functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• •Collaboration skills with engineering and data science teams
• •Structured thinking and exceptional written communication skills
• •Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• •Experience in investment, financial, or alternative data ecosystems
• •Familiarity with modern data platforms or cloud-based stacks
• •Solid foundation on statistics, data modeling and backtesting
• •Experience with LLM workflows and agentic solutions
• •Advanced user of AI solutions and MCPs
• •Passion for AI, emerging technologies, and investing
• •Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and transparency
• •5-7 years of professional experience

Tasks

• •Evaluate fundamental and alternative datasets with analysts
• •Manage data vendor relationships and renewals
• •Maintain structured overviews of dataset dependencies
• •Coordinate dataset evaluations with research and engineering
• •Scope web scraping and self-harvested data opportunities
• •Translate investment intent into clear functional requirements
• •Define expectations for data reliability and freshness
• •Gather feedback on workflows and data trust
• •Track product impact and adoption through usage signals
• •Reduce stakeholder ambiguity to focus engineering efforts
• •Support documentation and governance with compliance teams
