Requirements
- 3 years of relevant professional experience in Finance/Payroll, ideally in an international environment
- Demonstrable experience in leading a payroll team (functional and disciplinary)
- Completed degree, preferably in Finance, Payroll, Taxes, Auditing, or comparable field
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively, complete tasks reliably and on time
- Very good leadership and team skills, ability for cross-departmental collaboration
- Clear, structured, and audience-appropriate communication and presentation skills
- Strong hands-on mentality and continuous improvement approach focusing on process optimization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Proactive, flexible, and independent work style with high motivation
- Good SAP knowledge and very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Tasks
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Comply with legal and internal guidelines
- Develop a robust internal control system
- Lead and manage a team of three employees
- Collaborate with external payroll service providers
- Work closely with internal payroll-relevant departments
- Optimize and standardize payroll processes
- Adhere to US-GAAP and local accounting regulations
- Administer and manage pension plans and company cars
- Monitor and implement changes in regional payroll laws
- Support annual fiscal year close with payroll data
