Description

In this role, you will lead the demand planning strategy, guiding a team of planners to ensure accurate forecasts and operational efficiency. Your work will involve collaborating with various departments and driving innovative processes to enhance forecasting precision.

Requirements

• •Degree in supply chain, business analytics, statistics, economics, industrial engineering, or related field
• •6+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain analytics
• •Advanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning forecasting methods
• •Excellent analytical and structured mindset
• •Proven leadership experience and strong ownership mentality
• •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• •Proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI

Tasks

• •Lead the demand forecasting process for the SKU portfolio
• •Ensure forecast accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives
• •Monitor and optimize forecast accuracy KPIs
• •Conduct root cause analysis and implement structural improvements
• •Evolve forecasting methodology, including machine learning applications
• •Lead strategic demand planning initiatives and cross-functional projects
• •Drive alignment with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
• •Integrate market intelligence and promotional strategies into forecasts
• •Implement automation and analytical enhancements for process innovation
• •Mentor and develop a team of four demand planners
• •Set clear priorities and ensure high forecast quality
• •Build expertise in advanced forecasting techniques and collaboration
