Requirements

  • •5–8+ years in acquiring/payments risk
  • •Deep expertise in card scheme programs and merchant risk typologies
  • •Advanced analytical capability (SQL required, Python/R or similar a plus)
  • •Strong leadership and stakeholder influence
  • •Fluency in English, German or Danish

  • •Lead and coach a team of risk analysts
  • •Hire, onboard, and train new team members
  • •Provide performance feedback and support career development
  • •Coordinate schedules and distribute tasks for coverage
  • •Oversee daily risk monitoring and investigations
  • •Act as escalation point for complex cases
  • •Manage incidents related to payments risk and fraud
  • •Conduct post-mortems and implement structural fixes
  • •Govern underwriting execution and ensure due diligence quality
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
  • •Drive cross-functional resolutions with fraud and compliance teams
  • •Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, including playbooks and post-mortems
  • •Execute the fraud risk strategy and monitor performance
  • •Reduce false positive rates and report progress to management
  • •Establish KPIs and ensure audit readiness
  • •Support regulatory and scheme audits
  • •Build relationships with card networks and risk vendors
  • •Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and regulatory changes
  • •Translate trends into actionable policies
  • •Share expertise to support junior team members in daily operations
