Systems Architect - Electronic Warfare(m/w/x)
Architecting end-to-end EW systems for airborne platforms at a defence AI company, defining threat-driven roadmaps. End-to-end EW/mission systems architecture experience for airborne platforms required. Stock options, relocation support, and education allowances.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience in EW/mission systems architecture for airborne platforms with end-to-end ownership
- Ability to convert threat-driven scenarios into EW requirements + KPIs
- Experience designing or leading operational EW CONOPS and autonomous behavior
- Understanding of sensor-to-effector chain and technique selection logic including real-time constraints
- Strong multi-sensor fusion experience (ESM/RWR + radar + EO/IR + nav), including track correlation and confidence management
- Experience owning threat library/mission data architecture
- Ability to lead safety, assurance, cyber/COMSEC considerations for autonomous EW actions
- Experience defining test & evaluation strategies and verification matrices for EW capabilities
- Comfort driving cross-functional and supplier governance

- Own the end-to-end EW architecture for an airborne platform
- Define the threat-driven capability roadmap
- Define system partitioning
- Define interfaces
- Define the overall integration strategy across sensors
- Translate operational scenarios into EW requirements
- Translate operational scenarios into measurable KPIs
- Define the EW CONOPS
- Define EW behavior
- Architect the sensor-to-effector kill chain
- Define timing budgets for the kill chain
- Define data products for the kill chain
- Lead multi-sensor fusion architecture
- Architect threat library concepts
- Architect mission data concepts
- Establish system safety for autonomous EW actions
- Establish system assurance for autonomous EW actions
- Lead digital engineering for EW performance modeling
- Define the test and evaluation strategy
- Coordinate cross-functional design decisions with internal teams and suppliers
- Manage critical technical trade-offs
- Own key interfaces
- Own ICDs
- Manage supplier technical governance
