System Engineer for Radar and Surveillance Systems / Situational Awareness Systems(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Academic studies in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- Experience in design, development, and/or integration of radars, radar-based systems, or sensors for aircraft/aerospace vehicles
- Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies and experience in application
- Experience in system design, development, engineering, and/or integration of complex avionics systems
- Previous experience with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) advantageous
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Experience in stakeholder/supplier management
- Language skills: English business fluent/negotiation level, knowledge of German, French, or Spanish advantageous
Tasks
- Develop and integrate radar systems for civil and military helicopters
- Design radar systems based on requirements analysis and specifications
- Define integration, verification, and validation strategies for radar systems
- Support rig, ground, and flight tests of radar systems
- Ensure system qualification and certification at the helicopter level
- Manage suppliers to monitor technical requirements of development contracts
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization, including project management and sales
- Benchmark state-of-the-art radar systems and technologies
