Requirements

- Negotiation-level English skills; German skills are a clear advantage for on-site work
Tasks
- Act as central technical authority for On-Board Data Handling (OBDH)
- Conduct high-level trade-off studies for data throughput and processing speed
- Translate complex system-level needs into precise equipment specifications
- Manage technical roadmap with suppliers
- Orchestrate data, electrical, and housekeeping interfaces between spacecraft components
- Own critical DHS budgets including TM/TC, bus traffic, and processor performance
- Lead subsystem through electrical and functional testing (AIT)
- Ensure performance during Launch and In-Orbit Testing (IOT)
- Define hardware structure of OBDH subsystems
- Break down complex customer requirements into technical specifications
- Manage interfaces between platform, payload, and crypto units
- Support production, electrical tests, and verification
- Lead crypto design at the interface between hardware and software
- Focus on next-generation MMFU development and interfaces
