Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (sustainability focus), Energy & Resource Technology, or related field
- 3 years relevant experience in sustainability roles or consulting in industrial/international business
- Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g. TCFD, GRI, ESRS, GHG Protocol, CDP, EU Taxonomy)
- Experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions methodologies, data collection, calculations, performance tracking, action plans; PCF experience advantageous
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, high ownership, proactive and solution-oriented working style, strong cross-functional stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Tasks
- Support Sustainability Manager in ESG strategy implementation
- Ensure ESG data accuracy and transparency
- Collect and validate ESG KPIs across departments
- Report ESG KPIs to track performance and progress
- Implement Scope 3 greenhouse gas accounting processes
- Support continuous improvement of ESG methodologies
- Analyze ESG data to identify trends
- Coordinate internal and external ESG audits
- Prepare sustainability disclosures and reports
- Benchmark ESG performance against peers
- Support company-wide climate targets and decarbonization
- Promote sustainability awareness through training
- Provide guidance to site teams and stakeholders
- Monitor ESG regulations and reporting requirements
