Supplier Quality Control Engineer(m/w/x)
Assuring quality of components for UAV and electronic systems, including supplier audits. Several years' QA/manufacturing experience in aerospace or high-tech required. Relocation support up to €2,500, 4 weeks temporary accommodation.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical, Production, or comparable field
- Several years' experience in quality assurance or manufacturing, ideally in aerospace, electronics, or high-tech
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience with testing and measurement techniques for electronic and mechanical components
- Understanding of UAV technology, sensors, electronics, and mechanical systems
- Confident user of ERP, MES systems, and quality management software, especially SAP
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- Encouraged to apply even if not meeting all qualifications
Tasks
- Verify incoming conformity of supplied components
- Audit supplier processes
- Collaborate with Production Team and Quality functions
- Assure quality of components for UAV and electronic systems
- Define and optimize quality processes and inspection plans
- Monitor and control quality at various stages
- Analyze supplier performance data
- Lead root cause analysis activities
- Implement corrective and preventative actions
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
- Ensure smooth transition from development to production
- Conduct and document goods-inward inspections
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Verify conformance to specifications
- Develop and maintain KPIs for supplier quality
- Drive proactive defect prevention
- Ensure supplier compliance with ISO 9001 and aerospace standards
- Develop and validate test methodologies
- Maintain inspection equipment at supplier interface
