Strategic Key Account Manager – Building Automation, Data Center & Energy Infrastructure Industry(m/w/x)
Driving complex solution sales for Building Automation and Data Centers. 6-10+ years strategic key account management experience required. 4-day work week, company car for private use.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline
- 6-10+ years Strategic Key Account Management or complex B2B sales experience
- Proven track record in Building Automation, Smart Buildings, Data Centers, Mission-Critical Infrastructure, Semiconductor or high-tech industrial facilities
- Skilled in strategic account planning, executive stakeholder engagement, value-based consultative selling, and framework/contract negotiation
- Strong understanding of European project and procurement models
- High commercial judgment
- Ability to operate autonomously in matrixed, cross-border structures
- Fluent English
- German or Dutch language skills advantageous
- Willingness to travel frequently
Tasks
- Lead multi-year strategies for European accounts
- Act as the single commercial owner for strategic accounts
- Build senior relationships with stakeholders
- Maintain senior relationships with stakeholders

- Engage customers early in the sales cycle
- Manage tendering processes
- Negotiate sales agreements
- Establish framework agreements
- Position integrated solutions across BAS/BMS
- Position integrated solutions across energy management
- Position integrated solutions across digital platforms
- Position integrated solutions across lifecycle services
- Negotiate framework contracts
- Manage framework contracts
- Negotiate preferred supplier agreements
- Manage preferred supplier agreements
- Negotiate long-term commercial programs
- Manage long-term commercial programs
- Coordinate internal stakeholders
- Coordinate external stakeholders
- Serve as escalation point for strategic topics
- Monitor market dynamics
- Monitor customer investment plans
- Monitor regulatory developments
- Shape growth initiatives
- Develop sales pipeline
- Provide accurate sales forecasts
