- Interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Willingness to shape AI tool support for safety analysis and compliance management
- Comfortable working with software development tools
- Operating and evolving AI-assisted methodology
Tasks
- Establish and maintain system safety process and architecture
- Define and maintain Operational Design Domain (ODD) boundaries
- Conduct CONOPS scenario analysis for operational scenarios
- Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA)
- Conduct SOTIF analysis for performance limitations
- Define safety functions and integrity targets
- Set system-level validation criteria for safe behavior
- Own system-level risk acceptance and residual risk arguments
- Define operational measures and training requirements
- Manage regulatory register and safety-relevant compliance matrices
- Allocate safety functions and integrity targets to teams
- Arbitrate safety-security conflicts and coordinate risk management
- Communicate safety functions and ODD constraints to engineering teams
- Review architecture proposals for hazard coverage
- Participate in scenario reviews and field trials
- Coordinate with Quantum Systems core group on safety aspects
- Define validation scenarios and acceptance criteria for V&V
- Review and accept validation evidence for safety claims
- Develop and maintain AI-assisted workflows for safety analysis
