- •Knowledge of MIL-STD-882 and ARP4761A
- •Familiarity with systems engineering best practices
- •Proficiency in safety analysis tools
- •Experience with Jama, DOORS, or similar
- •Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- •Excellent communication and presentation skills
- •Experience in MBSE (advantageous)

Tasks
- •Apply a comprehensive system safety approach within specific programs
- •Refine system safety processes across all company programs
- •Integrate safety practices into organization design and development lifecycles
- •Conduct safety assessments including AFHA, SFHA, PASA, PSSA, ASA, SSA, and PRA
- •Perform hazard analyses and risk assessments at all system levels
- •Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882 processes and tasks
- •Develop and manage traceable system safety requirements
- •Support engineering groups with safety integration in design processes
- •Maintain a System Safety Program Plan following MIL-STD-882 and ARP4754B
- •Present safety cases to stakeholders to influence decision-making
- •Participate in safety audits to confirm regulatory adherence
