Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of experience in JAVA
- Hands-on experience with Spring ecosystem (Spring/Spring Boot)
- Working knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to design and implement engineering initiatives with minimal guidance
- Prior experience in travel domain beneficial
- Familiarity with airline distribution and standards (GDS, NDC)
- Familiarity with integration of booking/reservation systems
- Experience with B2B systems beneficial
- Experience with identity/HR integrations beneficial
- Familiarity with SCIM, SAML/OAuth, SSO, user provisioning/deprovisioning
- Familiarity with connecting HRIS/IDP platforms (Workday, Okta, Active Directory)
Tasks
- Implement new features
- Maintain search and booking technology
- Optimize search and booking logic
- Handle demands of global corporate clients
- Build high-performance integrations
- Work with third-party APIs
- Take ownership of designs
- Ensure high code quality
- Maintain performance standards
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architectural steering
- Ensure project modularity
- Support KAYAK's enterprise expansion
