- CAN and diagnostics basics
- Automotive Ethernet (T1) networks
- Designing and debugging vehicle network configurations
- HIL/breadboard setups
- Test instrumentation and commissioning
- Integrating and validating GNSS and cellular connectivity
- Familiarity with satellite connectivity or tactical communications
- Systematic debugging
- Clean documentation
- Validation-driven engineering
- Hands-on mentality
- Willingness to jump into builds, bring-up, and workshop work
- Python scripting
- Vector tooling (e.g., CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Experience with ruggedized platforms

Tasks
- Work with stakeholders on system architecture
- Select components for compute and sensors
- Integrate compute, sensors, and communication into vehicles
- Plan and execute hardware bring-up and commissioning
- Mechanically and electrically integrate new hardware
- Troubleshoot hardware issues in vehicle prototypes
- Lead hardware validation plans
- Execute test campaigns
- Drive design improvements through data analysis
- Design production-grade harnesses
- Evolve harness designs for manufacturing readiness
- Design and build breadboards
- Commission Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test setups
- Design vehicle network architectures using CAN and Automotive Ethernet
- Validate vehicle internal network configurations
- Specify and integrate external network configurations
- Test GNSS, 4G/5G, Starlink, and tactical data links
- Execute system-level integration
- Define acceptance criteria
- Support field testing with fast feedback
- Build and rework harnesses in the workshop
- Support vehicle integration during intense phases
- Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams
- Drive decisions in collaboration with autonomy, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations teams
