Special Process Expert (Crimping and Electrical)(m/w/x)
Defining and qualifying special processes for electrical systems in high-speed trains and electric buses. Engineering degree and 2-5 years special process experience required. 30 days vacation, flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical, electrical, or chemical
- Training and qualification by a third party for PS if needed (e.g., welding)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial methods
- Experience in the special process from 2 to 5 years (execution, definition, qualification)
- Training in AT Special Process standard training
- Independence, rigor, and good communication skills
- Interest in training and coaching others
- Fluency in English and at least intermediate German
Tasks
- Contribute to the tender phase for product design and industrialization
- Participate in specification and design phases for technical solutions
- Manage industrial risk through defined processes
- Define requirements and rules for necessary tooling
- Qualify the product/process pair and industrial means
- Support the development of local suppliers
- Manage the evolution of the quality control process for special processes
- Ensure deployment and validation of new processes according to project planning
- Issue relevant documents in the Quality System
- Train workers and EPU managers on special processes
- Ensure continuous training and qualification of workers
- Train support functions on business rules related to special processes
- Guarantee internal control and adherence to process rules
- Perform internal and external audits
- Participate in meetings and working groups of the Special processes network
- Propose improvement ideas and evolution of business rules
