Requirements
- •Fundamentals of spacecraft systems engineering, AIV, or spacecraft operations
- •Simulation-based verification and validation principles
- •Spacecraft operational concepts and procedures
- •Scripting or programming in at least one high-level language (e.g. JavaScript, Groovy, C++)
- •Ability to read, understand, and debug existing source code
- •Strong analytical skills for investigating complex technical issues
- •Experience with spacecraft simulators or emulators
- •Familiarity with mission control and monitoring systems (e.g. SCOS-2000, GCS-CC, SIRIUS, Proteus MCS, Open MCS)
- •Knowledge of SIMULUS or similar simulation frameworks
- •Exposure to automated testing in safety-critical systems
- •Experience with large-scale or multi-spacecraft simulation scenario
- •Development of testing plans
- •Test automation
- •Scripting (Bash)
- •Python

Tasks
- •Design and execute manual and automated tests for the CSIM spacecraft simulator
- •Convert operational procedures into reproducible test scenarios
- •Support large-scale and worst-case constellation simulations
- •Conduct end-to-end tests
- •Develop scripts to automate tests and complex operational sequences
- •Manage simulator state vectors for repeatable testing
- •Monitor system behavior under stress and identify anomalies
- •Analyze simulator outputs and assist engineering teams with debugging
- •Improve test coverage, robustness, and usability of the simulator
