Software Engineer - Embedded Systems(m/w/x)
Developing autonomous software modules for physical AI on automotive SoCs. 5+ years C/C++ on POSIX/RTOS, automotive SoC, and QNX/Linux OS experience required. Occasional remote work, flexible schedule management.
Requirements
- 5+ years C/C++ experience on POSIX/RTOS
- Automotive SoC experience (NVIDIA Orin, Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride or similar)
- Strong low-level hardware accelerator understanding (encoders, DSPs, GPUs)
- Deep QNX and Linux OS knowledge
- Microcontroller, hardware debugger, flashing interface experience
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in CS, Robotics, Electronics
- ADAS or autonomous driving systems experience
- Machine learning experience, ideally in perception
- Full product cycle experience (prototype to production)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASIL, or MISRA C++
- Willingness to apply even if not all requirements are met
Tasks
- Design and develop autonomous software modules
- Port software across system-on-chip platforms
- Develop and debug autonomous stack on embedded platforms
- Optimize perception models for embedded performance
- Work closely with machine learning engineers
- Interface with automotive middleware and protocols
- Support vehicle operations
- Set up SIL and HIL environments
- Leverage AI-accelerated development tools
- Maintain and enhance software workflows
