Tasks
- Design end-to-end data pipelines
- Acquire onboard sensor data
- Process and store ground-based data
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms
- Integrate algorithms onto embedded onboard hardware
- Manage performance, memory, and real-time constraints
- Drive the full onboard software lifecycle
- Define requirements and design software
- Write code and perform verification activities
- Follow aviation standards like DO-178C
- Develop systematic verification and validation strategies
- Execute unit and integration testing
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Produce software lifecycle data and documentation
- Create design documents and test procedures
- Document test results for aviation certification
- Build robust ground infrastructure software
- Ingest and analyze fleet-wide data
- Manage the MLOps lifecycle
- Validate data and training pipelines
- Deploy updated models safely
- Perform strict software configuration management
- Release software for onboard and ground environments
- Collaborate daily with agile development teams
- Coordinate with colleagues at various Airbus sites
