- Act as the key technical interface between development and manufacturing
- Advise developers on design-for-manufacturing and process optimization
- Evaluate new product concepts for feasibility and cost
- Coordinate communication between development and global production
- Support the industrialization and ramp-up of new products
- Compare production processes at Straubing and China plants
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization
- Maintain technical documentation and production data
