Requirements
- •Doctorate or PhD in mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, technical mathematics, computational engineering, or similar fields
- •Solid foundational knowledge in engineering mechanics, structural mechanics, thermodynamics, machine elements, materials science, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer
- •Knowledge of finite element analysis and corresponding tools (e.g. Ansys, Abaqus)
- •Experience in applying artificial intelligence methods related to physical systems (e.g. surrogate models, data-driven simulation, reinforcement learning)
- •Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, .NET, or similar
- •Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken
- •Professional experience desired
