Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments
  • Authorised Person (High Voltage & Low Voltage)
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND or completed apprenticeship
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds
  • 18th Edition IET: Wiring and Installation
  • C&G 2391 Inspection, Test and Certification or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team
  • Willingness to attend on and off-site training
  • Ability to comprehend and act upon instructions
  • Enthusiasm, pro-activity, diligence, and alertness
  • Integrity, honesty and punctuality

Tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate the engineering team
  • Operate facility systems effectively and efficiently
  • Control technical operations of installed building systems
  • Prepare and support vendor planned and reactive works
  • Ensure vendor worksheets are signed off and quality inspected
  • Provide engineering relief cover during emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements
  • Manage the Corrigo CMMS system for work orders
  • Attend weekly operations and client meetings as needed
  • Report on engineering risks and system availability
  • Complete shift handover reports for effective communication
  • Maintain critical spares and audit stock levels
  • Compile incident and near miss reports
  • Escalate operational issues immediately
  • Review and follow up on vendor service reports
  • Produce site-specific SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs
  • Assist in delivering critical infrastructure training
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of safety systems
  • Escalate vendor performance issues accurately
  • Communicate technical updates to team members
  • Maintain adequate onsite resources and arrange cover
  • Liaise with supply chain for M&E component orders
  • Drive a positive culture of development and training
  • Coach new employees during onboarding
  • Participate in quality assurance processes and audits
  • Complete responsibilities per the MEP responsibilities matrix
