Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in scientific, engineering, or similar technical field
  • •Related working experience: 2–8 years
  • •Advanced training in toxicology
  • •Certification as toxicologist or started education highly welcome
  • •Deep knowledge of ISO 10993 standard series
  • •Significant experience in chemical-analytical and biological biocompatibility testing

  • •Derive strategy for toxicological evaluations and risk assessments according to ISO 10993-17
  • •Support biocompatibility strategy with material characterization and sampling
  • •Conduct chemical-analytical and biological testing for toxicological profiles
  • •Create toxicological risk assessments for leachables and extractables studies
  • •Perform toxicological evaluations of substances and review external assessments
  • •Coordinate with project teams on findings and necessary measures
  • •Revise toxicological risk evaluations to align with current data standards
  • •Facilitate global knowledge exchange on toxicological evaluations
  • •Contribute toxicological expertise to biocompatibility reports
