- Strong C++ skills in performance-critical and real-time systems
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts and low-latency data transport
- Experience building graphical user interfaces or visualization systems in C++
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, threading, timing, and synchronization
- Quality-driven mindset with strong ownership for safety-relevant software
Tasks
- Build and evolve teleoperation HMIs using modern GUI frameworks
- Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput video pipelines
- Manage dynamic multi-stream video with precise time synchronization
- Optimize glass-to-glass latency with GPU-accelerated video encoding
- Tune end-to-end performance for optimal latency
- Develop robust connectivity layers between teleoperator stations and vehicles
- Implement V2V communication as needed
- Adapt teleoperation software to diverse hardware platforms
- Ensure consistent performance, usability, and reliability
