Senior Technical Support Technician(m/w/x)
Supporting hybrid Mac/Windows environments and enterprise A/V solutions for a global CX software provider. 5+ years IT support experience required. On-site work with global IT standards and asset management focus.
Requirements
- 5+ years IT Support, Workplace Technology, or Service Operations experience
- 3+ years large-scale enterprise environment experience
- Relevant industry certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Jamf, Cisco, or similar)
- Hands-on ServiceNow experience (Incident, Request, Asset modules)
- Proven enterprise A/V and conferencing technologies experience
- Strong Mac and Windows configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to explain root cause of technical issues
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
- Endpoint management experience (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Familiarity with inventory and asset lifecycle management
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Experience supporting executive-level users
- Experience in global tech or enterprise software company
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Experience with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune, or similar)
- Familiarity with Zero Trust or modern endpoint security frameworks
- Clear communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Confidence and composure supporting senior leadership
- Self-directed and accountable work style
- Curiosity about systems and problem-solving
- Proactive approach to system health and process improvement
Tasks
- Support hybrid Mac and Windows environment
- Manage enterprise A/V solutions
- Take ownership of local IT asset management
- Work within global IT standards
- Escalate deviations to global teams
- Act as IT representative for Dusseldorf site
- Handle local tech environment independently
- Collaborate remotely with EMEA and global IT teams
- Escalate complex issues when necessary
- Resolve incidents and service requests independently
- Manage and resolve complex technical issues
- Own local hardware lifecycle
- Receive, deploy, track, and retire IT assets
- Maintain accurate asset management records
- Execute Move, Add, Change (MAC) activities
- Set up workstations
- Onboard and offboard users
- Manage desk moves and hardware refreshes
- Support enterprise A/V and collaboration systems
- Ensure meeting rooms are operationally ready
- Support Poly, Cisco, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Maintain displays, controllers, switchers, codecs, and networked components
