Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist
- Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine
- Expertise in character pipelines
- Proficiency with tools like Maya or Blender
- Experience with shader development
- Strong understanding of optimization techniques
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python
- Experience with procedural character generation
- Passion for game development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Unreal Engine’s Metahuman framework (nice to have)
- Familiarity with AI-driven animation tools (nice to have)
- Knowledge of physics-based simulation (nice to have)
- Background in technical animation (nice to have)
Tasks
- Develop and maintain character art pipelines.
- Create and optimize shaders, materials, and rigs.
- Collaborate on procedural solutions for character customization.
- Ensure character assets meet performance benchmarks.
- Refine real-time deformation, skinning, and rigging solutions.
- Support AI-driven character systems with dynamic solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges in Unreal Engine.
- Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies.
- Document processes and train the art team.
