Senior System Architect(m/w/x)
Developing end-to-end PHY system models, including channel behavior and TX/RX impairments. Proficiency in system-level simulation with Python or Matlab required. Travel opportunities, innovative culture.
Requirements
- Master’s/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related area
- Strong experience with high-speed PHY and SerDes systems (≥100Gb/s per lane)
- Solid understanding of channel modeling, equalization, jitter, noise, system-level data converter behavior
- Proficiency in system-level simulation (Python, Matlab or similar)
- Ability to abstract complex physical effects into usable system models
- Ability to make sound engineering trade-offs under uncertainty
- Excellent intercultural communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical mindset and practical insight translation
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- German and/or Chinese knowledge is an advantage
- Some travel activity expected
