Senior Research Engineer – Advanced Modeling(m/w/x)
Developing advanced behavioral and nonlinear models for PHY components and systems. Strong background in nonlinear systems and signal processing required. Global network access, travel opportunities.
Requirements
- Master’s/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related area
- Strong background in nonlinear systems, system modeling, signal processing
- Experience with high-speed PHY and SerDes systems (≥100Gb/s per lane designs)
- Experience developing behavioral/system-level models using Python, Matlab or similar
- Analyze complex problems and translate into viable solutions
- Familiarity with high-speed data converters and system performance impact (advantage)
- Experience in system identification and data-driven modeling (plus)
- Strong analytical mindset, ability to challenge assumptions, explore unconventional solutions
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- German and/or Chinese knowledge (advantage)
- Some travel activity expected
