Defining and maintaining Software Update Management Systems (SUMS) for autonomous driving solutions at mobility tech provider. Strong understanding of OTA update architectures and automotive cybersecurity required. 6 weeks remote work option.
Requirements
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong understanding of OTA update architectures
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity
- Understanding of functional safety and SOTIF principles
- Familiarity with type approval and homologation frameworks
- Ability to interpret regulatory standards and specifications
- Diplomatic and firm communication
- Ability to influence engineering decisions
- Professional leadership of internal/external teams
Tasks
- Develop governance for compliant software updates in an agile environment.
- Translate regulatory and standards into engineering guidelines.
- Ensure updates meet cybersecurity, safety, and availability standards.
- Oversee compliance throughout the software update lifecycle.
- Define and maintain the Software Update Management System (SUMS).
- Conduct internal audits.
- Support external regulatory audits.
- Support type approval activities.
- Prepare compliance reports.
- Prepare safety case documents.
- Prepare regulatory evidence packages.
- Recommend process and tooling improvements for compliance automation.
